JOE KENT RUNNING IN 2024
I'm bumping this thread because he sent me a (bulk letter) request for a campaign
contribution. He is seeking the congressional seat again. He had a close loss in
2022.
The primary isn't until August, with the general election in November, so there is
still some time to think this through.
His web site is lacking in details of his service -- other than he was a Green Beret --
and I'm curious about his record and why he is retired as a Captain.
Not saying he is good or bad, I'd just like more information before a write a check.
Various web sites have described him as "an extreme right Trumper" who
praised the Jan 6 [riot] [insurrection] and took some extreme positions on border security and other issues.
I'll write to him, but if anybody has any good gouge on him ... including his
education and job experience since retirement, I'd like to hear it.

Was on an ODA with Joe. Probably one of the best GB’s and smartest men I have ever met. If his web page has him retiring as an O3 then it’s a typo. He retired from JSOC as a Warrant, I believe it was as a CW3? He was nearing the end of his next training event when his wife, Shannon was killed in Syria along side of another friend, CW2 John Farmer from 5th SFG.
I haven’t talked to him in a few years, but Joe is cut from the same cloth that we all are.
I’m glad to say I know him, I’d follow him to the gates of hell, and I hope he wins because we need folks like Joe in the fight for America.

Joe's in a tough district for a Conservative to win. I used to live norh of there near Aberdeen where everyone is a little Kurt Cobain wanna-bee, it aint much different in District 3. Alot has changed since 22 but.....
I wish him luck, he's a good man!

Episode 69 Tucker Carlson interviews Joe Kent. Off the cuff Joe is IMPRESSIVE, articulate, knowledgeable, factual.
I wish there was a way to donate without going through WinRed, the Republican website that takes a portion of your donation for their use. We only want to directly donate to those candidates that hold a perspective that we can relate too.

My son was in WOCS with an O-6 who decided to go Warrant. Perhaps Joe made the same decision.

Hope he has a higher level of success this time. The House is losing a few R's. Remains to be seen if the R serving NE WI (Gallagher, leaving) will be replaced by one.
