First we do not wish to be "hot linked" to any website as moronic as the one you posted. We would rather read our intel from "semi-reliable" sources.

Those that serve on active duty only to protest are not only stupid but are cowards.

The US military is not a democracy, it does not grant free speech, just defends it.

Protesting war is fine if you are a civilian, protesting war while wearing a military uniform is called treason.

Exactly.

Why would you ask such a question here?

Clearly, political protesting is inconsistent with military service.

thanks for your response
I believe you have recieved your answer by two of the top men on this sight.

What TS and TR said, plus - the UCMJ has punishments in place for that kind of action by any serving soldier, hopefully they will be used.

Enterfirst, I don't know you, but it looks like you're trolling. How could you not know what a professional solder would think? You don't have to be a QP to not tolerate this garbage.

Matt Peters is one of those. A Navy electronics technician...
Lt. j.g. Fabian Bouthillette...Individual Ready Reserve...
Navy Operations Specialist 2nd Class Dave Rogers...
As an aside, does anyone here see any "shooters"? I don't see a single QP, Infantryman, Scout, Combat Medic, MP... hell, I don't even see an 88M, CA, PsyOps, or anyone who looks like they'd leave the FOB. I have NOT been to the sand box, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night and I've noticed most of the complainers and protestors are people that have not been off the FOB--or even to the box. I bitched about my deployment to Bosnia--to my fellow GIs, not to my mommy, my pastor, or my Senator--but I did my duty, and I'd do it again.

I didn't see leftists drooling over SPC Michael New when he refused deployment orders because he was required to wear the baby-blue beret for our Macedonia mission, but let some slack-ass squids go to church and whine about the war, and it's big deal....

Bad enterfirst, baaadd! Beat your face, hero!

Enterfirst, check your PMs....for someone who is supposedly going to SFAS, you need to get your head out of your 4th point of contact...

I would have waited about a week before posting again, but then again it's not me.

After your last post, (I thought you'd get the message from my PM) you don't need to quit your "corporate drone" job.

Enterfirst-
Shush. You have already annoyed a SGM with more contacts in SF than you'll ever have. Go grey, hit the woods and hide, in the immortal words of Monty Python "Run Away!!!!!".

If the gentle prodding above has not sunk in, STFU for a while, read, learn and in a week or two, pm the SGM with an apology. Don't quit your day job until you learn a little SA, ok?

Oh, yeah, how does it feel to keep repeatedly stepping on your crank with sharpened track shoes?
