18x right away or wait?

Hi my name is Ryan, I am a junior in highschool. I plan to go to college and then join the Army.

My question is when I join should I enlist as 18x, or should I go for another MOS like Infantry for a couple of years before I try for SF?.

Thanks

My suggestion would be to read the stickies and start over and hope that you are allowed to post here in the future.

I recommend the Marine Corps for you kid.

Some MOS where you don't have to read, follow simple instructions, or think too much is probably best.
