Congratulations Guys! Now comes the "prove it" phase. Keep up the good work and in a few years nobody will remember the 18X part. Remember the goal oriented focus that got you through the "Q", it will make the inevitable speedbumps a little easier to deal with. Now get out there and make some TS's life interesting.

LOL, how true.
One of my new guys arrives on the team, weapons guy.
We deploy to the field, 200 miles from home base, two weeks, weapons training, weapons galore, 106RR, 4.2 inch, 81mm, .50's, AT-4's etc etc etc
We pull of the .50's and the Sr weapons came to me and said "We forgot a piece!" I figured the headspace and timing gauge's, not a problem as I know how to field expediently set the headspace and timing. "Uh, no, Jr. forgot the barrels," all six.

I'm thinking it's more like a beer truck...or maybe a walk-back and get them...

Congrats to you all
Fellas,
Congrats on you accomplishments. I can speak for 1/3 only, you'll be busy. If you are coming in to 3rd in general prepare to work hard. If you are coming to 1st Bn prepare to work harder. Time off is only a mirage around here. I'd say that this day and age you'll be busy regardless of what team room you drop your gear in, regardless of Group.
Wish you all the best and look forward to supporting you in your mission.
P.S.
If any of you are coming to 1st Bn, 3rd.....please help me help you. I'm your S-2 rep and will be more than happy to help you out with your needs (Clearance, Passport, etc), and trust me, you'll have needs
I'm the ugly face that you'll hate to see, and the voice of dispair when you don't want to hear it.
