Little Orleans, MD

As the final day of turkey season ends here in Maryland, comes with it some bad news. If anyone on this forum has been to Bill's Place in Little Orleans, MD I believe you'll be a bit disheartened. Mr. Bill Schoenadel, the owner of Bill's Place was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and given 6 months to live. The reason I posted this is because Bill's is known throughout the country, so maybe you've been. Just something to share, and if you can, stop in and have a cold one. there is no website, but i found a blurb here http://www.eastcoaststurgis.com/id8.html

Bill's is located in the heart of Greenridge State Forest on the corner of High Germany road & Oldtown Orleans road. It's in the middle of nowhere next to the C&O canal. Great atmosphere.

That's a bummer, I've spent many a night at little orleans and in greenridge forest.

RIP Bill, the best to his family.
