Palau is about to close the last Compact of Free Association with USA so the Department of Insular affairs will no longer give out the stipened check. It is on its way to being its own self running country. The currency in Palau is United States Dollars.

There are a lot of relational training between foreign friendly forces in Asia Pacific and Palau.
