Well, our system is dead and will not revive unless drastic changes are made. Politicians as careerists have given themselves unlimited power and ruined our country by playing to the money. Both parties, which is also a flaw. Why are we always down to just 2 choices? Because the political machine controls it, and it is controlled with money.

I'm going to take a wild shot and guess there is maybe 1 percent of our state, or federal politicians that are actually there for the right reasons.

Orange man bad isn't what's wrong with our country. Electing obviously demented and mentally handicapped people into office is a huge part of what's wrong (or letting the voting machines and tabulators do this). Let's add electing deceased people into office too. The majority of the citizenry of our country have no pride in it and could care less about our history or future. As long as they can have their face in their phone 24/7 and order that triple Whopper and super size fries and drink they have no care.

The red mist, as JJ put it, was predictable with just a little thought. Ask yourself what did we fix after the last election? We can run a credit card anytime day and night and make a transaction that is logged almost instantly yet we can't seem to count up individual votes for days? Yeah, there is a little more wrong than Orange man bad.

Oh, I'm not a cultist, nor even a big fan. I didn't like Trump when he was the runner but I did vote for him. Yes he had his flaws but he did try to push our country back in the right direction for the most part. I gave a rats ass about his tweets. I'm not on twatter so it didn't affect me. Reagan had his flaws too, as does every human. But, I don't think there was ever a person that was so publicly harassed, attacked, conspired against, and vilified as this man. Just think about it, his slogan of MAGA, is now presented as extremist terrorists now. We are in a lopsided country of evil politicians and bad actors behind the scenes.

Our system is dead. Trump can't fix it and Desantis can't fix it. The flaws and cracks are to deep. The vote no longer matters.

Just my opinion, but I have two problems with DeSantis:

1. He just signed up for another 4-year stint as FL governor. To just abandon FL to go after the presidency sucks, imho. He has done an excellent job in FL.

2. Who is backing him right now - and giving him money. It would seem that the globalist scum are going all-in for DeSantis to run for president in 2024. That creates a big problem. If Trump AND DeSantis run in the 2024 Republican primary for president, that will make for an ugly primary. Both may be bloodied; and, by extension, tarnished. That seems like the kind of a "primary" the globalists (and that includes, especially, the GOPe) want in 2024. Use the old "divide and conquer" strategy. Trump's reference to "DeSanctimonious" seemed to me to be his way of letting DeSantis know that Trump knows what is going on behind the scenes.

President Trump is not beholden to the globalist multi-nationals for money. Ron DeSantis is. And if DeSantis accepts their money and their backing, they will own him.

An interesting article about all of this:

The Establishment Is Trying to Divide and Conquer MAGA
By J.B. Shurk Nov. 9, 2022
https://www.americanthinker.com/arti...quer_maga.html

Here's an article from the Conservative Tree House along those same lines:

President Trump Fires Back Against Ron DeSantis, Con Inc and Coordinated Narrative Midterm Effort
November 10, 2022 | Sundance
https://theconservativetreehouse.com...idterm-effort/

This isn't just about Trump - or DeSantis. This is about the future of MAGA. Bitch McConnell and his ilk want to do to the MAGA movement just what they did to the Tea Party movement: destroy it.

I would vote for Trump if he is nominated. He is a blowhard and a narcissist but his administration accomplished more in four years than Obama did in eight. He pulled us out of the Global Warming nonsense treaty if nothing else. BUT, the man needs to be quiet. He would be unstoppable if he practiced Quiet Professionalism...

Something else that people need to consider...

The shit-fisted republican establishment will sink the ship before they will support another Trump campaign.

-The Royal Order of the Bush Family all but bragged about their support for the wife of their good friend Bill.
-The carpet bagger from Arizona that campaigned on building a wall and repealing oBaMaKare couldn't wait to attack trump at every chance he got.
-Milt Rummy - well - do I really need to say anything about Milt Rummy?
-That fucking crook from NC that used his position in the senate to absolutely rape the public trust and make MILLIONS of dollars on "legal" congressional insider trading because he knew he was getting ready to help ass fuck the US economy during the COVID hysteria ..
...for those- of you that can't keep up -yes - I'm talking about Richard Burr.
-The list of sad sack republicans that undermined our nation because of their petty personal grievances with Trump goes on and on.

In fact, I would say that the only people most of our modern day republicans hate worse than their democratic opponents are republican voters.
-The Permanent-Washington-Republicans hate democrats
-The Permanent-Washington-Republicans really fucking hate republican voters.

So we find ourselves in quite a pickle.
Do we continue to fight for a second Trump administration - as much out of concern for the well being of the nation, as it is in spite of those that help swindle him out of office?
...or do we look for someone that hasn't been covered in the shit being thrown by the circus monkeys inside the beltway?

Even though Joe Biden is only in office because of small but strategic bouts of election fraud in just enough counties to tip a few key states - he's still the president.
...a comment that countless worthless bags of guts Americans could never manage to say about the last POTUS.

Sure - Biden's team cheated - so what?

Lets look into this thing called cheating:
cheat - verb // gerund or present participle: cheating
act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage

That is pretty much the very ESSENCE of polyticks. CHEATING
...acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage. Haven't people been saying "if you aint cheating, you ain't trying" for the better part of the last century? Well, life's hard - wear a helmet.

The Astros cheated - the Patriots cheated - referees have been caught supporting point shaving scandals to cover the spread - Lance Armstrong - Olympians getting caught blood doping - for shit sakes, Mike Tyson bit a guy's fucking ear off - but the game plays on.

Let's not all pretend that politicians getting elected after stuffing a few ballot boxes is a new thing. It's been going on in this country for over 240 years. Let's move on - Lesko Brandon is the POTUS - whether he's sane enough to get through the day without a team full of handlers or not. He's probally pissed hiself at least once or twice since he moved into the free government housing on Pennsylvania Avenue - but who cares - we all been there - 19 Heinekens and even the best of us are subject to a leaky bladder.
Hail to the chief and all that jazz.

...but back to my baseball analogy. Sometimes, even the star pitcher gets pulled in the bottom of the 9th because the game is more important than the pitcher's ego.

Just my two cents

The message-shapers are busy putting forth a zero-sum premise, that if one is not in devout favor of Trump one must de facto be anti-populist. (It's pretty evident this is not the case.) But if you're mad that Sandy Koufax gets pulled in the 9th, you must hate his team and, by God, you might even be reliably accused of hating Baseball.

Attacking the wrong problem.

The federal government is too powerful, regardless of which party wields that power.
Corruption is deeply rooted in the bureaucracy and in the very structure of the election system.

Political power at the federal level is, at best, a delaying action.
Our best hope lies in a convention of the states.

The progress is slow, but steady.
The best way to fix the federal government is not to allow them to participate in the changes.

I beg to differ. Our best hope does NOT lie with a so-called "convention of the states". There is nothing wrong with the current U.S. Constitution. What is wrong is that people we elect (supposedly) and those in the judicial system have not adhered to their respective oaths of office to abide by that Constitution - not to mention the bloated bureaucracy who never feels obligated to obey the Constitution.

Here are a few articles that explain best why a Con-Con is not the way to go to correct our current problems:

Article V Convention: Will It Work?
Vol. 38, No. 13 07/11/2022
https://thenewamerican.com/article-v...n-will-it-work

There is a wealth of information in the above articles. And information about why a Con-Con, particularly at this time in our nation's history, would be a really bad idea. Last but not least, even if by some miracle some good for our country came out of a Con-Con (not bloody likely), who is to say that the same people who have already sworn an oath to abide by and defend our current Constitution - and have not - would honor their oaths to a new constitution?
Food for thought.

Not a con-con, an article V convention.

Any amendments proposed at such a convention would have to be ratified by 38 state legislatures.
If 38 state legislatures would ratify a detrimental amendment, then the nation is already well past saving.

The only purpose of the article V convention would be to enable the possibility of restricting the power of the federal government.
Congress will never propose an amendment to restrict its own power.

You think the civil unrest was bad in 2020? Anybody want to make bets what's going to happen in '25 if he's elected?

I'm politically conservative and yes, I voted for him in '16. He had some good ideas, but I don't really like the guy. Couldn't believe some of the stuff he was saying about other people in the media. He also fired some decent people in his cabinet. His presidency seemed more like a show.

If he ran again, I'd probably vote for him but like a few others have already said, we need some better Republican candidates.

It's too early to start betting the line,, BUTT

I am reminded of the 1972 Democratic and Republican conventions in Mijami Bitch.

I was in C 3 20th SFG(A), and our TO&E HC was 60 (staff & 4 teams). The state did not want big riots, so we were marginalized, sanitized (uniforms with ZERO patches), activated, and parked in a local grade school as an immediate reaction force. Kinda like an early PSD for McGovern and Nixon.

The hippies partied HARD on Mijami Beach but caused little damage. We slept thru the convention on Key Biscayne, two blocks from Bebe Rebozo's villa.

I suspect that's what we will have in 18 months, but with a Woke proletariat brandishing Rainbow flags and tooling around in Chevy EV's.

Make your reservations early..

Republican Convention, Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Democratic Convention, TBA, Chicago, Illinois

Old News: The 2012 convention was a tic up from the 1972, the next may be even spicer??

I cant wait for the establishment to kick the investigations into evil Trump into overdrive in the coming weeks.

I expect to see an absolute full court press to jam as much horseshit into the horseshit cannon as humanly possible in the waning days of speaker pE10si's reign or terror...
...and that horseshit cannon will be pointed right at the faces of conservative America

never Trump indeed

The establishment of BOTH parties are terrified of DJT. This alone is enough to support him. Everyone knows he has the dirt on everyone. They also know that when he was POTUS he used the unique authority to declassify the dirt. The pigs are getting into a mud-slinging contest. When both sides are attacking anyone, I am rooting for that guy. Period. Full-stop.

Certainly not much argument from me - I think a LOT of people forget that most conservative Americans live under the illusion that they have honorable stewards guiding republican efforts in congress.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The real truth is that "Permanent Washington" really is 'bipartisan' - just not the way people think. I've said it before and in numerous places - they are out playing golf together or enjoying a three-martini lunch while the rest of America is trying to figure out how to pay their bills and feed their families.

The problem is this - it doesn't matter how much dirt Trump has on anyone; both sides of the aisle will conspire to clean up that dirt before it stains any of their inside-the-beltway designer clothing that is paid for with the blood sweat and tears of American taxpayers. The next problem has already been identified and litigated - as they clean up their own dirt they will conspire to fabricate dirt against anyone that challenges their authority.

Cocaine Mitch didn't mind showing his true colors either - clearly he was ok with turning his back on republican candidates if there was any indication that they would not support his position as the republican floor leader.
Not that it matters - most amercians still think that crying chuck is the 2IC of the senate behind VP Harris.

WRONG

Pat Leahy is the President Pro-Tempore - but who cares its just government right?
...amiright?

Several senate races could have been turned in favor of a GOP majority in the senate but Cocaine Mitch killed their chances by pulling their funding. Some of these mother fuckers are living proof of the old phrase, its better to rule in hell than serve in heaven - and Cocaine Mitch is the poster boy for eating your young when they don't kiss the ring.

The only thing the republican establishment hates worse than a political opponent is a genuinely conservative republican voter.
