Fade in on a tight shot of a man wearing Bruno Magli shoes, walking swiftly down a freshly swept city street - the camera pulls back to get a wide shot of a bustling metropolis - a quick cut of a gray haired but strikingly handsome sharp dressed man in his 50's pulling on a pair of Aries Light Driving gloves (the kind that didn't fit OJ Simpson)...
...the music is playing - music you love - music you love a lot

A few jump cuts of action between Detective Box and Special Educagent Lesko Brandon - shoulder to shoulder - punching it out with the bad guys - and the narrator (in that voice we all love hearing on TV) lays out the teaser for the new season of "Routine Crimes Unit"

Detective Box is is the epitome of what all men strive to be. He's handsome, he's intelligent, women adore him, he's got cash, he punches people, he travels the world, he uses a whip, he has a manly beard and disarmingly blue eyes, he punches people, he goes on adventures, he has a myriad of skills, he punches people...

Box, you left out the plasma cutter. Men need plasma cutters. I was holding court at an office function once and mentioned that I wanted to get a plasma cutter. One of the dolts at the table asked: "Why?"

I held his gaze for a few moments, time slowed down, I could hear a fly buzzing two States away...., somewhere in the distance a coyote howled and I noticed in my peripheral vision women scurrying their youngsters out of the street and into their homes.

I sighed, and yelled: "TO FUCKING CUT THINGS WITH YOU STUPID BASTARD!!!"

Where the hell do these people come from...?? I mean....really!!

Welding and Plasma cutting are definitely skills that Detective Box keeps in his tool belt - I just need to figure out how to work them into the script.
