Doc
Check out my site, I did a review on it last year. A pretty trick piece of kit that can fit inside the exterior pocket of an ALICE ruck.
cut high on front and back to allow access to LBE and your ruck.

LOL, I get a scope-like piece of pipe and hit them with it repeatedly until they learn not to set up so close.

10 minutes and I could show how to make that in a few hours. We (with some of the gear guys help) can find you the basic material for about 8 dollars.

I made one to almost the exact specs using an old 'night desert parka' for pennies on the dollar. Great concept, 'cause in on a real op, snipers have to wear a real deal combat existance load and it's a serious pain in the ass with a traditional full ghillie top and bottom. Just gotta cut the back and chest area off of it and construct just like a normal ghillie suit top. Pretty much replaces the traditional ghillie suit for me. Shaves alot of weight off the full ghillie, and it can indeed fit easily into the back middle pocket of a ruck.

Here it is. I actually like the way this one fits better than the Tactical Concealment hood (tried it on the last week actually), and it covers the entire arm, not just the shoulder area...
