If you are in Fayetteville for COL Tobin's Celebration of Life ...

Check this web page.

I just flew into Raleigh, NC and tomorrow will be scouting out a Fayetteville establishment for food and beverage. (The last time I was here, it was "The Hearth and Galley" on Yadkin Road).

AT THE RISK OF BANKRUPTCY (or disappointment):

If you can present one of the two 11th SF Coins, your meals and beverages are on me.

If you can present any of the bottom three coins (7th SF Group, SOCNET, 101st Airborne Division) your drinks are on me.

Problem: I haven't driven to Fayetteville yet. I'll be there tomorrow about 15:00 and I welcome suggestions. If I was in Clarksville, TN (and if it wasn't down for fire repairs) we would be meeting at the Blackhorse Pub & Grill, military friendly, quality food and beverages. So I'm looking for suggestions on a place in Fayettenam with decent food and a decent bar.

I guess I'll have to post a place NLT 16:00 tomorrow and wait and see what happens. Friday Night, free drinks at least, free meal for the 11th Group veterans (hell, if it won't drive me into the poor house, free meals for the "also ran" coins as well).
Oh yes, your wife, beloved, girlfriend, yobo, etc. are included.

Please send me your suggestions as to a site.

And I'll see you on Saturday at the SFA HQ.

Depending on where you are staying, if you are looking for a challenge-coin related drinking establishment, you might try 'Charlie Mikes' -

What Box said, Charlie Mikes and Thai Pepper are two favorite meeting places now that the GB club is gone from Smoke Bomb Hill

There's a place folks could meet that's pretty Close to National and CH I-XVIII's places. That's Dirt Bag Ale, it's pretty much right off of I-95 and close to SFA.

There's also a slew of eateries off of Reilly and Yadkin rd's.
