Diversity & Inclusion Czar Et tu SOCOM?
United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has hired as its first “chief of diversity and inclusion” a person who posted anti-Trump memes on his Facebook page, including one that compared the former president to Adolf Hitler.

SOCOM posted about Richard Torres-Estrada’s hire on Thursday:

After his hire was announced, some of Torres-Estrada’s apparent social media posts began circulating.

A Facebook account appearing to belong to Torres-Estrada posted on June 2, 2020: “Here I leave this and slowly retire (to continue working from home)…” along with a meme of then-President Donald Trump, holding up a bible in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church after Black Lives Matter protesters set fire to it, next to a photo of Hitler.

You mean the obviously photoshopped photo of Hitler, who in the actual photo (look it up for yourself) is simply holding up his empty hand?

Haven't you heard? If you are on the wrong side then posting those things make you a racist. If you are on the correct side, then posting racist images and messages is actually a tool to fight racism. It's the weekend. Go ahead and have a cold one to keep your brain from melting.

Googled for more info and instantly landed on the strategic plan. Did someone get promoted for coming up with "Line of Effort"?

I wouldn't survive 5 minutes in today's Army.

we are directly following the Soviets. We now have "Diversity and Inclusion Officers" (Political Commissars) within the ranks. Just don't go thinking that your "diversity" extends to freedom of speech as you will be cancelled.

It is going to be funny to see how they achieve it now that they removed pictures from the ORB. The anointment's in promotions will have to be much more blatant and divisive to achieve diversity.

Will they divide up the promotions categories like the ACFT?

Maybe I am missing something, but it crossed my mind that all this emphasis or mission on "Diversity and Inclusion" will not lead to anything Special, but rather Mediocrity.
