S&T, That's good news. having posted to twitter, Linkedin, Instargam, along with a direct msg via personal email to the McChrystal group. we had hope it would impact the decision process to control the media and election.

So, an active duty GO does a lot of PT - don't sleep much - doesn't eat cake - and skyrockets to prominence on the backs of their troops.
...must be a conservative republican
Does anyone actually pay attention to the things of substance that these guys SAY and DO when they are on active duty?
If so, why all the hero worship followed by shock and surprise when a news article uts" them for who they really are ??
fascinating

That is the thing that always boggles me on these boards is when an Officer someone here knows becomes a GO they tout him as different a "good dude". The "good dude" has negative conotations IMO....So no they are not different they share the same compromised character as they all do

I never read that part in the Constitution. I must have missed that day and never made up the work. I guess he and I swore an oath to defend a *different* constitution than he did.

I don't like his politics nor do I like McCrystal's... unseemly in my book.
But I remember the day when my butter-bar self was walking down from the back of the motor pool line one afternoon and I see in the distance, a little dude surrounded by a retinue of horse-holders. I didn't know who in the hell he was, but I knew that he wasn't my friend and this wasn't good. And unfortunately, I was all by myself. And I do mean, All. By. Myself. As I got closer, I could see the two bright stars on the little dude's BDU cap, a big-assed eagle on one of the others and who cares about the others beyond that? Right?
I meet him and his group, salute, introduce myself and my Battalion (20th ENG, "Build and Fight") tell him that I was the senior officer present (I was so idealistic then) and give him some bullshit about my platoon's OR rate and some general stuff about my company, and OR rate that I heard at the last company ops meeting .. all the while searching with my eyes like a scared rabbit for someone to help me.
At this point, an unlucky private (is there any other type?) came out from behind a vehicle and i called him over. I excused myself from the Division Commander (MG Clarke) and after asking him for his name, quietly told him to run, not walk, to the BN HQ and get someone, anyone above the rank of 2LT over to the motor-pool ASAP to talk with the Division Commander. I think I also told him that if he did not do it fast enough I would personally make sure that his time remaining in the battalion would be a living hell. (sorry, I was like that as a youngster).
Like a good officer, I smiled and offered to give the good General a tour of our Company motor-pool line, but he and his entourage took pity on me and told me that it would not be necessary, made some small talk with me that neither I nor they cared one iota about, and told me that they would be leaving and for me to carry on. I do remember the General looking amused at my undoubtedly obvious nervousness. But they turned around and left.... with me following them to make sure that they left.
By the time the BN S3 got across the street to the motor-pool, they were long gone.

Thanks for the tale! LOL. I can visualize that.
Yeah, Clark struck me has a little aspiring tyrant back when he was running also. His quote that "civilians" didn't need assault rifles & "if you want 'em join the Army" told me all I needed to know. He & McChrystal are a pair.

The Linkedin post, the same one post here has garnered attention from some serious people, several gov.intel checking out the profile. To date: 76+ from that world, along with 3 negative, including a principle from the McC Grp.
Replied to one comment, which attempted to frame a conversation in a Trump vs Biden context.
The post, was never about individual candidates. The post directly addresses the greatest threat (imoo) to our free nation, which is the erosion of individual voting control, threaten as it is by vote harvesting, Mail-in voting, lack of voting ID, and now AI, structured to mine the social landscape and create narratives to prime a population mindset, nothing could be more insidious.

WD. This is a confluence of people, place, event, timing that could accomplish exactly what you have described. It like seeing the recession of water, dumbfounded, until you understand looking at the returning surge, the tsunami is at your door.

It's same as it ever was - democrats that virtue signal while simultaneously fucking lady liberty right in her ass...
...the party of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, George McClellan, Hugo Black, Theodore Bilbo, Joe Brown, Robert Byrd, John Gordon, James Heflin, Nury Martinez, LBJ, Hillary Clinton, and of course, Joseph Robinette Biden
The same party that was formed in 1829 that spent the next 190 years opposing every single relevant civil rights effort that people like Bill Clinton and LBJ could shake their dicks at.
The party of Nathan Bedford Forrest.
The same party that started the civil war, then fought against reconstruction, then founded the KKK and perpetrated countless horrific barbaric acts against decent hardworking human beings whose only crime was wanting to live in a free country as productive citizens. The party that gave the USA Jim Crow laws and segregation.
The same party that demanded that we name military bases after confederate generals before they would cooperate with the federal government for training troops for WW1. The party that vehemently opposed the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments after a democrat-stage-actor shot and killed Abe Lincoln (a republican that ended slavery in America)
The party that refused to elect a black man into congress until 1935.
The same party that instituted literacy taxes and poll taxes. The party of Woodrow Wilson - you remember him - he is the POTUS that resegregated numerous federal agencies and became the first president to screen a movie at the White House...
...that was was "The Birth of a Nation" in case anyone is curious.
The party that...
...well, for fuck sakes, you all get the point - there have always been generals that are complicit in the bullshit that democrats foist upon us (see above with names like Lee and McClellan) and the modern day is no different except that now they have access to horrifying technology.

His politics aside, that guy employed some military tactics worth studying. Not too hard to find some fine scholarship on special operations in the Civil War.
