Pineapple Express

There's an article on the ABC news website about this operation to rescue Afghan special operators and assets and their families. No link, as even my Adblocker can't stop all the annoying and intrusive content ABC wants to force onto its readers, but you can probably find it easily using the Google-fu.

Positive waves and prayers out for those involved. There have been reports of some casualties, mixed in with the reports on casualties from ISIS terrorism, but details are sketchy.

I read that article and from what I gather ABC was allowed to view the operation as long as they kept it secret until it was finished.
Kudos to all those involved. A well conducted exercise (discounting the IED situation, which no one had control over). God bless those that took part.

Perfect!

Just the other night, a dear Iranian friend of my daughter and I shared a traditional desert that was prepared and shared over a prayer for her family and friends in Afghanistan.

I sent her the link with a note that her prayers are being answered!

Publishing an article like that while operations are still ongoing is stupid and irresponsible. It just got a lot harder to keep that Op going.
