The Blue Marble

Awesome photos of earth.

On a clear day.... Nasa reveals mesmerising 'blue marble' images of Earth

These spectacular 'blue marble' images are the most detailed views of Earth to date.

Using a collection of satellite images, scientists painstakingly stitched together months of observations to create these montages which show the surface of the continents and oceans in stunning detail...

CSM-H, yeah that's what I thought also, it was a great place to hangout. It's not there anymore, there's another hole-in-the-wall in its place.

Thos are great pix though, almost like "The day after"(?), that global cooling movie shots.

What I find so remarkable is how incredibly thin the atmosphere is. If you look carefully, it's visible in the first two pictures. thanks,

I haven't seen the F1 layer since commo school! It looked a lot like red ink on my grade slips.

Leave it to a commo man to take all the beauty out something pretty.
And you wondered why, after listening to your detailed (long) explanation of that antenna you just spent 2 hours designing and building, I'd smile . . . when I handed you the message and said, "Hurry up and send this. we're leaving in 3 minutes."
