Where do these idiots think they live? When I read the headline I expected to see the "FLAG" not the image that has been incorporated into the word POLICE. The image does not offend me but I am not a fan of the Flag being incorporated into any logo, especially sports teams logos. But that's just me. YMMV

When I think about all those “crazy” right-wing Tea Party people all congregating in one place and their “lunatic” ideas of openly carrying ARs across their backs and packing open and concealed handguns about them because they can, I remember thinking all those guns in one place and none of them caused anyone harm or accidentally went off.

If you ever watch television and there are more than five social democrats wearing black hoodies it’s almost guaranteed that windows will be broken, businesses trashed and personal/private property damaged or destroyed. Hell they (those 18-24 year old college students) can’t even celebrate a sports team win without destroying other people’s property and their downtown city districts.

It’s like they “feel” entitled to destroy! (Where did that come from?)

I'm currently working on my language skills by reading "El holocausto espanol, Odio y exterminio en la Guerra Civil y despues". It's a "scholarly work" written by an Englishman, Paul Preston (no axes to grind), about the Spanish Civil War, causes and history. Fascinating document. Some of it makes my skin crawl. Bottom line - diametrically opposed, irreconcilable viewpoints escalated into a classic example of man's inhumanity to man. Same thing in the former Yugoslavia, Syria, Lebanon, Ukraine, El Salvador, Colombia, sooner or later Venezuela, etc. etc. Anyone who says it can't happen here is naive, uneducated, willfully blind, trapped in their "normalcy bias" or part of the 5th column working to lure the proles into complacency so they'll be easier to manipulate when the inevitable happens.

None of these things were ever supposed to happen. Hell, a World War was triggered because a motorcade took a wrong turn after a failed assassination attempt.
A failed assassination attempt the turned into a successful assassination because the wrong turn ended up at the working end of a small caliber pistol.

Yet here we are - with duly elected congressional representatives calling the duly elected president a mother fucker.
Duly elected representatives giving public speeches that suggest running people from the opposing political parties out of restaurants, gas stations, and any other public venue.
Duly elected representatives that refuse to follow the law and institute "sanctuaries" for illegal aliens - but become zealously combative when the government suggests that illegal aliens seeking asylum are sent to those sanctuary cites.
Elected leaders that should be seeking law and order choose instead to give the freedom of anarchy to "those who wished to destroy space" because they wanted to stage violent protests...


Yet the question persists - could there be another civil war in america?

I saw those maps, Oh Goody...I can hardly wait. NOT. I try and chart my ventures away from human waste!!

When I saw this post I started to look into the Russian experience, civil war 1917-1922... what a cluster... everyone fought against everyone, not a pretty picture, one of the reasons history is so important. Change what is considered one of the best systems in the World... at what cost.

Villanova University’s Professor Billie Murray is giving a campus lecture April 24 titled “Reimagining Activism as Combative.”

Should be an interesting lecture...much better to have this out in the open than behind closed doors.

Some days Trump's greatest accomplishment seems to be that socialists, communists and others bent on destroying the Republic are increasingly open about their desires. It's helpful when the domestic enemies identify themselves.
