The fourth Site is a small farm located in Hopewell Township NJ. It is a 7ac. flag lot That can be certified organic, which is important to us as we wish to grow our own grain.

This also our site choice; as much as I love historic preservation and the aesthetics of the stone mills, they only offer two revenue streams. Where as the farm offers the potential for a distillery, restaurant, and catered events, such as tented weddings in the field. Also the 18th C house has loads of charm and once restored will be housing and a restaurant.

The distillery will be housed in the barn, one other structure will be converted to the rick house.

The one commonality all the properties have is access to a spring fed water source. At the rear of the Carriage House property there is spring feed stream crossing the left rear corner, which would be the NW corner of the lot

Here a few other pictures of the Carriage House property. The other thing interesting element with regard to each property is they each possess distinctive name:

The Black Mill

Musky Trout

The Burnt Mill

The Carriage House

Just add the word Whiskey and you have a possible brand.

Philadelphia distilling makes an outstanding salted carmel moonshine.

I got some and tried it. It was just awful. Tasted like really bad tequila, not whiskey. Couldn't even make it drinkable with heavy mixers. I poured the rest of the bottle down the sink. Don't waste your money.
