BACARDI MOJITO'S

This past weekend we visited one of Jeff Ruby's restaurants on the levy in New Port Kentucky. (Jeff was the owner of the steak house that kicked OJ out on his tail Derby weekend)

We decided to try a Mojito and none the less a Bacardi Mojito. After two the bartender asks if we'd ever had an Bacardi "Razz" Mojito. Very Tasty !!!

For a piture simply multiply the parts by six. Very tasty and the rum catches up to you much later. Be careful.

Recipe for Mojito's

1. 1 part Barcardi Razz Rum

2. 3 parts club soda

3. 12 mint leaves

4. 1/2 Lime

5. 1/2 sugar

Drink responsibly and alway's have a designated driver.

Yup.
I worked as a bartender the past 3 summers. Very popular drink.
Normally we use just the silver rum, but all the flavors are fun too.

Easy way to make it a bit sweeter is to use sprite instead of club soda.

Made great ones by... pretty much doing what you did...

Ice in shaker... squeeze however much lime you want,
two packets of sugar or 3,
mint leaves,
muddle it,
RUM
put it all in glass,
top with sprite,
shake it to mix sugar in more.

You really dont have to mess with the simple syrup like some call for.

Sprite ? That does sound good.

I dont believe there was any simple syrup in these, but I'd be curious to know if she did use it in ours.
