But this situation, as it progresses into arrest and the long social media trial will increase the divide. It will remain calm. “Cooler heads” are prevailing. The opening day of Major League Baseball was Thursday. The NBA Playoffs start on the 15th of April (so about 2-weeks). And let’s not forget NASCAR is in full swing throughout the summer.

The “aggrieved class” may make some noise, the “morally righteous” may jump up and down on TV, and the clowns in the capital will do all they can to ensure they have a job come Christmas, but the ~85-90% of a-ME-rikans are more worried about “Owe My Balls” and “Brawndo the Thirst Mutilator” (it’s got more molecules and is what plants crave).

If they've thought about it at all they're probably glad that the national Capitol isn't physically located more in the center of the country. Logistically, getting to it would be much easier for the peasants, the better to throw a tailgate party with the proper accoutrements.

I'll wager there's already a DHS threat assessment for 19 April.
