Back to my youth

When I was a kid my dad bought our first riding mower a Cub Cadet 70 in 1964. I recently purchased one and am having the time of my life restoring it. It is a healthy distraction from the ills of the world that we live in. I am the kid on the fender.

Great pics - I like the two 'toughs' on that mower.
Those are classic, you picked a good one.
And I hate you. Your shop is disgustingly clean.

Consider the law of unintended consequences - if Saint Patrick were to run the snakes out of DC - where do those snakes end up? Baltimore is already full of snakes - Richmond isn't much better - most of the REAL snakes aren't from DC anyway and would just return home to places like San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Seattle...

Just leave them there. Build a wall around DC and let them have it.

Wouldn't that be a much happier day for all of us?

Wall it up, we can throw scraps of food over the wall so they can fight amongst themselves; then throw in the snakes for their meal...

I believe he was referring to Snake Pliskin. Not real snakes

They already have lots of the Special Interest Vipers.
Once one bites the politician's they will go out and seek more of them.

For the record - the politicians ARE the real snakes - you don't need to throw extra snakes over the wall...

Consider this:
The venom of the Taipan is the most deadly venom of any snake on earth and is especially deadly to mammals. Compare the average Permanent Washington Viper (aka - the Liberalis Politica Activistica) with the Taipan (Elapidae Oxyuranus)

One of them is specially adapted to kill warm blooded species and is able to kill as many as 100 adult humans with one strike. There are three types - a coastal variant that is more outgoing, aggressive, and extremely dangerous due to its behavior when it encounters humans. The Inland and Central Range variants can be a bit more reclusive and noticeably more placid but equally as deadly when provoked. Mature adults range from 4'9" to 6'6". They prefer to escape from trouble but will almost always strike if provoked or mishandled. The species is considered to be one of "Least Concern" as it's population is widespread and does not seem to be in decline. Their outward appearance varies since the individuals undergo a seasonal change in color to blend in to their ever changing environment. They actively scan for prey using their well developed senses and once they strike, they release their prey and allow it to stagger away - confused and uncertain. (This strategy minimizes the chance of being harmed in retaliation). Private ownership is legal but frowned upon and comes with a very high price tag.

The other one is just another fucking poisonous snake that lives in Australia.

True, Politician's are like Boa Constrictor's; they squeeze the life out of you ...
