Rest in Peace General.

He was such an easy going officer but smart as a whip.

Rest in Peace Sir.

Saluted the man almost everyday for two years when he was CG of XVIII Abn Corps.

He was a soldier's soldier who preferred to be with troops in field over the usual trappings associated with his rank and position.

It was an honor and privilege to serve with you, sir.

Rest in Peace!

Understand the problem; pull your weight. Appreciate. Be completely honest and trustworthy in all things. - Jeff Cooper

Practice honesty and integrity; rescue the man who has been wronged from the hands of his oppressor; do not exploit the stranger, the orphan, the widow; do no violence; shed no innocent blood in this place. Jer 22:3
