Destin Deep Sea Trip

Here's the haul from a recent trip to Destin. Me, a 7th Group team sergeant, and our kids.

Great day, tons of grouper, red snapper, blackfin tuna, and wahoo, with a few others thrown in for good measure.

My buddy almost pulled in a huge shark too, but it broke the line just as it was coming to the surface. Couldn't tell the type or exact size, but it was at least 8-10 feet long.

We're now living in Niceville while my wife is at Eglin. I want to take my son out fishing and don't know the best party charters. Can you tell me what charter you used?

Also...if you're in the area, we found a dive with GREAT food. Nick's Seafood Restaurant on R20 in Freeport. (11 miles from Niceville). No dress code required!
Clearly SF/SPECOP approved...(stickers and flags abound).

Surfing lessons for my 8-year old next Saturday in Destin!

OK, you showed us the chum, now show your catch. LOL, in all seriousness, great catch, even greater spending time with your child. He will never forget those memories.
