Terrorist attack? Hide ! (aka Shelter in Place)

Terrorist attack? Hide ! (aka Shelter in Place)

Very disturbing behavior for adults. Then again it's the European Union, we should expect no less. And what happens when the bad-guys with guns burst through the doors? You just give up and have your throat slit.

This is socialism, this is cowardice, this is also what most Americans would do, give up and "hide". Don't take a stand, don't go and see if you can assist others, hide.
It's called fight or flight now has a new name, socialist cowardice, hide. Or as DHS would say "shelter in place" aka hide.

I don't care that it was Bono hiding like a little girl, everyone has been told to hide like little girls for the last decade. This is how the West lost, we were hiding.

This is what happens when your elite socialist masters take away the ability to defend yourselves.

Bono hid in restaurant during Nice attack, report says
Published July 18, 2016
New York Post

U2 frontman Bono was at a Nice cafe just blocks from where a madman was plowing through crowds of people watching the fireworks for Bastille Day, according to a French report.
The 56-year-old Irish rocker, who owns a house in Eze, was eating dinner with some pals on the terrace of the fancy La Petite Maison on Thursday night when hordes of petrified people started streaming into the streets near the restaurant.
They were fleeing the Promenade des Anglais, where Mohamed Bouhlel mowed down scores of revelers with a 20-ton truck — killing 84 and injuring more than 200.

“Suddenly, I saw people running without shouting,” owner Anne-Laure Rubi told La Parisienne magazine.

Rubi instructed her employees to close the shutters and everyone in the restaurant — including Bono, the former mayor of Nice and celebrity chef Alain Ducasse — hid for about half an hour until police cleared the area.

They were all escorted out of the restaurant with their hands on their heads, a frightened customer told the French publication.

“The situation was very confusing. We did not know what was happening,” the patron said, adding that there were fears that bombs could go off in the area and that there was a hostage situation unfolding at the nearby Meridien hotel.

Let me tell you a "secret" all this does is "embolden" the islamic terrorists....... makes their job so much easier. The French are now just telling the public what actually happened during the last terrorist attack on France, torture, mutilation:

Horrifying details of the Bataclan Theatre massacre revealed
By Isabel Vincent and Laura Italiano
July 15, 2016 | 2:22pm

The Islamic State terrorists who attacked the Bataclan theater in Paris last November not only killed scores of innocents — they also gouged out the eyes and sliced up the genitals of some of the victims, according to testimony in a disturbing French report.

Some victims’ bodies from the second floor of the theater had been beheaded, eviscerated and otherwise mutilated, according to two secondhand accounts reported to a parliamentary commission set up to investigate the attack.
The investigation’s chair, conservative lawmaker Georges Fenech, complained to the commission that details of the mutilations have been kept from families and the press, according to an online transcript.

He also said he had heard of one especially grievous account: The father of one victim had told him that his son had been disemboweled and castrated, with his testicles found in his mouth.

“They had cut off his testicles,” Fenech said during testimony.

Give up your guns and hide. This is what the global socialist elites want you to do.

How much time did they have inside Bataclan? My understanding is that the whole thing lasted about 2.5 hours. Even if going for the shock value mutilations might provide, does it make sense to do this when there are living targets still in the building and, later, hostages to kill?

I find the Bono story hard to believe but probably true. I've heard no one else say they came out with their hands on their heads.

Too many stories of people running into back rooms and hiding in the corners. What kind of civilization have the liberals fostered?

Lay down and prepare to die. Or, in the case of a large truck barreling down a linear target line (fatal funnel) run in the same direction and pray that you don't zig when you should have zagged.

Diversity and equality will be among those who do nothing but huddle together waiting to be slaughtered.

Hmmm

Hmm, sitting there eating and suddenly large groups of terrified people go running past you?

Tells me all those running people don't want to be where you're at.

I'd do a WTF, look & listen where they came from, try and stop one to ask WTF was going on - and probably put some distance between "whatever" and me.

Would be different if you were sitting there and saw something unfold in front of you. At least you would have some idea of what was going on.

Told all my kids - If you're in school and hear shooting and the teacher locks the door to shelter in place throw a chair through the window, knock out the glass, jump and run like Hell - I'd pay for the window.

Big difference between American military and sheeple. And being caught in a near ambush there is only one tactic that works and they employed it.

Had those poor bastards in Nice been allowed to carry concealed their might have been a different outcome, or a lot less folks killed.

Your socialist masters can not and will not protect you against islamic terrorists, that's been proven time and time again.

If I were a French Sheeple I'd demand the right to carry guns. But you gave those rights away long long ago. And America is getting ready to do the same.

I work in a Federal Office that is leased space and we just got the "Shelter in place" memo.

I either going right at them or right out the window.

My thought is the government only sends out info like this to cover their ass, they must know something that we don't know, or else they would not send anything out.

Shelter in place or "cower" in place?

I'd rather go down fighting than hiding.

Didn't look good on the government memo, so DHS, DOJ and Dept of State changed it to "Shelter" in place.

This is how a liberal socialist government cares for it constituents.

Remember, they all have armed escorts............

(And I like the way you think!)

An axe for goodness sake

German train 'axe attack': Many reported hurt

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36827725

"More than 20 people in Germany have been injured after a man with an axe went on the rampage on a train, German media report.

A police operation including a helicopter is under way in Heidingsfeld, a part of the city of Wurzburg in southern Germany.

Details are scant and contradictory at this stage but some local media (in German) are reporting 21 casualties.

Some of the victims' injuries are thought to be life-threatening......"

WTF - this is what we are talking about in this thread. 20 injured, some critically, with an axe???? Even with a fighting hatchet - 20 people???? Dude wasn't no Conan. On a train???? That's not exactly room to swing a long arm weapon.

I can see 4 or 5 before everybody jumps up - but then should have been a 3 to 4 man pile on.

Perhaps he was trained by John Giduck and it wasn't just any axe, but a high-speed tacti-cool e-tool...

"Shelter in place" would seem to be for the benefit of those responding.
Makes target discrimination easy.

Same logic as gun control.
If you're armed, you're a target.

Now just be good sheep and get slaughtered if you're unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
You must always be reminded of your status of powerlessness and dependence.

Say it with me:
BAAAAAA!!!

I also work in a Fed Bldg.... We discussed this last quarter. The memo came out and we came up with a simple plan. We gather up all the admin staff and put them in the SCIF and then 72 armed people go hunting. I pity the fool that makes it inside our building.

The boss approved the plan and believes in a good offense not a hide and wait.

Or he realizes that a media headline of 72 armed federal agents hiding from one or two terrorists would be much much worse.......

Almost as bad as military being shot and killed on their own bases.

While we're at "war" every E-6 thru E-9 should be armed daily. Now that would not be too tough would it?
