Capt. Jason B. Jones, RIP

RIP Cpt Jones, Vaya con Dios.

My deepest condolences to his family & friends.

A Special Forces soldier from Fort Bragg was killed in Afghanistan on Monday, the Pentagon said.

Capt. Jason B. Jones, 29, of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, died in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, of wounds received from a small-arms firefight in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said.

He was assigned Company C, 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg.

He is survived by his wife, parents and a sister, the release said.
