CSM(R) Len Lundvall
To add to the below, after he retired, Len spent some time as a contractor supporting SOCNORTH with their Identity Activities program. Rest easy, Len.
Dear Bold and Old,
SGM(R) Len Lundvall died last week at his home in Woodland Park.
To many of us, Len was a dear friend. Those who know him best will remember that he was always quick with a joke, unfailingly steady under pressure, and an expert in all aspects of his profession.
He began his SF career as an 18E in 1st SFG before coming to C/1-10 where he served as the senior 18E on the B-team and eventually the Team Sergeant for ODA 036. As a SGM, he returned to 10th Group and Fort Carson where he was instrumental in the establishment of 4-10.
I'm not certain of the exact date, but I believe he retired in 2014.
He was cremated this Friday, 23 August, and I'm told his family is planning an interment and memorial service in Cody, Wyoming at a later date.
If you would, please publish this news to your Alumni distro.
I will relay more information as I get it.
Vr,
John E. Gianelloni

Len Lundvall passed away?!! Damn! That sucks!! It's been a long time since I've heard that name. We were in the 18E course together. Me, him and and another guy, Chris Stein, used to hang out while we were there. Sadly, the last time I ran into him was in Thailand in 2000. He was a hell of a guy.
Prayers out to his family. 🙏
Fair Winds, Brother! RIP🫡
