Nice Marlin, any way you cut it

LINK to the Fox story
Quote:
HONOLULU – A 5-foot-9-inch woman tournament fishing in Hawaii waters fought a 12-foot marlin more than four hours before getting it on her team's boat and weighing it at more than a half-ton -- a would-be world record.

But 28-year-old Molly Palmer is missing out on the glory and thousands in tournament prize money for one pesky reason: Her team's honor code.

Off Hawaiian waters? Slice it sashimi style with shoyu and ponzu! Makijiki, maybe with a little lemmon/lime and sake.

If you don't get that you don't get fishing.

Guy I know lives in Cabo just sent me this picture.

625lb Blue Fin. Took him a few hours to reel it in. (he's not young anymore)

Not a record, but a pretty good haul.

Blue Marlin. Blue fin are tuna. Is he fishing in the Bisbee Black and Blue Tournament?
Big money, especially in the side pots.
