Kerry Girls Booed at MTV Awards
I have heard everything from sporadic boos to the fact that they were booed out of the AO. Either way I think this shows that Kerry doesn't have the lock on America's youth that many presume.

Saw it on Fox.
They were almost booed off the stage.
Some cheers as well, maybe 20% compared to the boos.

A clip can be seen here. To be honest, while I can hear the boos (and applause), I can't tell what the relative magnitude of each was. I can't play it too loud in my office, though.

I doubt the pinheads that would go to the MTV VMA can tell the difference about the two candidates or even care. They were probably booing the delay in more "Kill Cops" rap songs than they were any political affiliations.
Of course, anybody that stands up and tries to give a political message in that venue is asking for it.

AL, Just played it full volume here and I am surprised at any booing, you'd have thought it was the Bush Twins. They looked a little lost when the booing started.

Crowd was probably too stoned to recognize the difference.

Coming from the younger generation, specifically the age group that is targeted by MTV's "Choose or Lose" campaign, I thought it was ridiculous that these idiots care more about P. Diddy and Usher than they do politics. Heaven forbid you speak of politics when Lil Jon and the Terror Squad are "in da house."
No one cared about what the Kerry and Bush daughters had to say. Hell, the Kerry girls couldn't get the crowd to shut up and most people my age, as well as MTV and the artists whose videos they show, are liberals.
I also thought it was sad hearing the response the American Olympic athletes received when they walked on stage. If you didn't catch it, the majority of the crowd could have cared less. I guess pride in one's country and the achievements of its athletes is just not "cool" enough.
I hate MTV and the people they breed.

I have heard that MTV went and edited out the booing for the broadcast.
Imagine if Fox did that...
