Resettled TF10 afghan interpreter
Guys,
One of our brothers is in need. I am happy to say that one of our interpreters for TF10 in Afghanistan and his family are being resettled to Colorado Springs. It took a lot of work by one of our officers, but we are getting him here.
His family will be in need of all household items and money in general as they are only given a small set amount each month. Id like to augment his family with some funds until he is working and settled. If you know of any good job opportunities I doubt you would find a harder worker.
This is as good as cause as any and his hard work and sacrifice comes full circle. This guy is so hard charging and trustworthy he was given an Ak and even a US radio while on mission. I have no doubt his abilities saved US lives on the ground. His sons have a chance to grow up in a place free of violence. PM me if you are interested.

Suggest you set up a PayPal account to accept donations. It is easy and is safe.

I May Have Some Things
How old are his boys? I may also have some pots and pans. You can PM me with the info. It might take me a couple of days to hook up with you because I am in the middle of finals. I can possibly do some toys as well. Like I said give me a couple of days to dig the stuff up. I do live here in town so delivery or pick up should not be very difficult.

The family arrived here in the CS area yesterday and are doing well. Their clothes are in pretty bad shape so that is a focus right now.
I am also trying to track down a old computer so that I can put rosetta stone english on it for them. Also I am able to pick up any household goods located in the Colorado Springs area! I have already got some good support from people, keep it coming!

Shirt Pants Shoes
Father L 32 or medium 11
Wife L/XL 14 9
Girl (2) 3-T 3-T 6 (toddler)
Boy (6) Y-5 Y-5 1 (4-8 yr youth)
Turns out he had one girl and one boy. One of the boys in the picture passed away last year due to medical complications and probably lack of facilities. I would also accept any clothes for girls from the age of 2-6 and clothes for boys from age 6-10 so they have them for the future.
Groceries are a priority right now as they are eating into their state department money until he can start the cash flow with a job by getting his green card.
PM me if you are interested in donating clothes, household goods, food, or money to the family. I will pick up anything in the CS area.

I would also like to reach out and ask if any of you know of interpreters that have been settled in the CS area so I can link them up with this family. I think they need alot of help adjusting to the culture and area. If so, PM me with their contact info!

I want to thank everyone who has donated as the donations have SINGLE HANDEDLY been responsible for Fardin's ability to feed his family as he is having trouble getting his social security card. WE have given him a better shot at the American dream which he and his family deserves a shot at. We have also gathered enough clothing to outfit the entire family.
All of your generosity has been incredible and I am humbled to know that if I were in troubled times my brothers would be there to help me out.
Things I am still looking for-
Money for groceries
Full time employment
spoons and forks
Medium and large mixing bowls
can opener
bathroom items (bleach cleaner, owels, plunger, toilet brush, bath mats)
bathing items (children shampoo, adult shampoo, body wash, hand soap, shaving cream, mens/womens razors)
Childrens toys (2-8 years old)
end tables
coffee table
tv stand
children or adult DVD's (no cable)
I can pick up anything locally just PM me items and location or you can PM me for my address for shipment or dropoff. If you'd like to meet the family and deliver your donations yourself that is also possible. They are a very social family and love visitors. The more friends the merrier! I will update the list as things come in. Thanks again for your support!

Tell Fisch I am going to slap him just for moving to CO! I can't get away from that guy, I am going to fill an ISU with Fake Beats headphones and Northface jackets and have him sell them out of his trunk on Tejon St.

Can probably send some stuff. Can you PM me the address to mail to? Also, what grocery stores are out there for gift card purposes, or those that would take a Visa gift card for grocery purchases?
