MG Ken Tovo

Just got a note from Ken, he's now a MG and at SOCCENT, very cool.

I was one of the 3 18Bs (with Doug Davis and John Welton)on Ken's first team, ODA 013. Good times.
Glad to see he's reached that second star and returned home.

None more deserving than MG Tovo. A true Special Forces leader in every sense of the word.

We were called-up, and assigned to his battalion. He treated us very well. I was thorougly impressed by him. One of the best officers I ever served under.

Same here. I was with craigepo on the same deployment. He never treated us any differently than his 'regular' line companies. Absolutely professional. He was also one of the few officers that I never heard ANYONE speak negatively about, in ANY way.

... and DrJay, I work with Doug now.

Next to Gen Cleveland, he had been the best SF Commander I have had the pleasure to be lead by!!

The two of them seem to be pretty tight! I spent all day Saturday with the Cleveland's and he is still waiting to take over USASOC, hopefully sometime this summer. I know the wait is killing him but he is still in good spirits.
