Research interest/Establishing volunteer Cohort
The purpose of this post is to establish a volunteer cohort for a very narrow research interest, related to the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test, which I think is flawed.
My interest is twofold, first to answer that specific question, is the test flawed? Two, exploiting the instinctual possibility, that within WCST failure, the WCST measures a condition heretofore unverifiable by any means.
Conceptually, the test notes adaptability and “was developed and has been used world-wide as a measure of abstract reasoning among normal adult populations, it has also been increasingly employed as a clinical neuropsychological instrument, to specifically measure brain dysfunctions affecting the frontal lobes.” (1974) (1986)
The Test will be conducted REMOTELY, at your convenience.
The dysfunction is not our interest.
Goal: to produce a publishable monogram.
Aim: To analyze the utility of WCST deterministic assumptions regarding executive functioning.
Population and Method: All subjects will hold positions as CEO/C level executives positions. or as Managing Directors (MD) in the financial industry, with particular interest in the United States Military leadership cadre holding positions as 18Z, CSM, 18A/0, BC/05 and above. Age range 20–70 years, all genders will be recruited for the study. The WCST will be administered, norms will be established per the WCST manual and will be compared with those of a second cohort of normal healthy individuals, not in leadership positions.
If you have interest please email me your POC Email address.
Total confidentiality is assured.
Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.
