Congo Mercenary Leader

Col."Mad" Mike Hoare, the leader of the mercenary force that fought in Katanga Province of the Congo and later putting down the Simba Rebellion has turned 99 years old today.
His 5 Commando saved the lives of many Europeans during the rebellion.
Hoare also led the attempted coup in the Seychelles with the cooperation of the CIA and the South African authorities.
