What should a woman know before trying out for SF?

What should a woman know or prepare herself for if she’s trying to join SF?

Try the Infantry first....if you enjoy rucking heavy loads in woods and sleeping on the ground for days on end, well then there may be hope.

It should not be about sex. You should have asked, "What should someone know or prepare themselves for if they are trying to join SF?" The standards are the standards.

Also read most of the posts in The Pipeline (Special Forces Training)

Best of luck.

That you will want to quit just like every man that has been in the course before you.

Might be SFAS, might be later down the pipeline, or it might be multiple times.

We all have a choice to quit, but some don't quit .

If you're thinking about joining SF, you should definitely brace yourself for some serious physical and mental grind. It's not just about being strong – you'll need endurance, the ability to handle stress, and a cool head when things get tough. In my experience, the physical prep is all about long runs, rucking, and building strength, but what really makes the difference is mental toughness. You have to be able to push through discomfort and stay focused when everything feels like it's falling apart. It’s also a lot about teamwork – being able to trust and communicate with your team is huge. If you're up for pushing your limits and sticking it out through the hard days, you'll be ready.

If you're thinking about continuing to post on this board, you should definitely brace yourself for some serious posting of an introduction and a profile according to the rules of the site.

It's not just about being a prolific poster – you'll need to demonstrate that you have credibility, the ability to follow guidance, and a cool head when admins and moderators give one of your posted unwanted feedback.

In my experience, this boards gets folks all the time that think it is just about responding to a bunch of posts to up their thread count but what really makes the difference is relevance.
You have to be able to push through the desire to post generic responses to a five year old thread and stay focused.

It’s also a lot about teamwork – being able to trust and communicate with the other members of the board is huge. Follow the rules, playing nice with others, and not giving SFAS/SFQC advice unless you are an actual graduate of those programs.

If you're up for posting advice when you posses SME knowledge, or posting humorous content when its appropriate, and limiting the necroposting unless there is something new and refreshing about the content, you will find a warm welcome here.

In closing, once you re-read the stickies and post the appropriate intro and proflie - you'll be ready
