Knowing your over the hill

Fox news commercial... Guy and hot blond on the putting green, he lifts his putter and it goes limp, she ambles over with a bottle, drops some blue pills in his hand, The putter straighten out and he puts into the hole....the symbolism and reference was blatantly explicit.
That was that not right, then I knew I was over the hill finding it inappropriate and tasteless.

Age is a transit state,, but your putter can live forever..

My Ping B60 Berillium, long shaft is still my go-to birdy maker..

I found that after 60ty+ years the head is a tad dull, but fear not, there is a fix..

Dip your putter in Coke for a fast like-new restoration :[

Guaranteed to stiffen your shaft and put a glossy shine on your wee putter's head.

Does anyone else consider the connection that the putting green has the most well manicured turf on the entire course?

When was the last time a golfer wanted to put his ball in the rough?

Moving on.

If you’re really interested in finding out just how “manicured” those greens are you will need to pull out your stimpmeter.

not for nothing - but I use one of those oversized drivers - not because I'm a pro, but because my swing is all fucked up - I need all the help I can get - my accuracy is all over the place - the harder I swing the wilder my slice gets - the older I get, the harder it is to get my balls out of the trap - I spend all day trying to navigate the water obstacles - with all the other crap I've got going on, I tend to prefer those par-three courses because I can get in and get out without spending the entire day cussing in frustration about my performance - truth be told, there are days when I go to the golf course just to hang out at the driving range by myself

...and I always like a well mixed cocktail at the club house when I'm done swinging my clubs

We are not so "modern" around here. And, if you ask her while she's adjusting her bikini top, she'll you she's not a beer bitch - she is THE Beer Bitch.

It is true about cleaning the Ping, though. Good thing it's more experienced than I am. Coke is good for more than battery terminals.
