What talent for stating the obvious, but I couldn't have said it better myself.

"I have been out on the Mata Mile the last few days, and I told one of the ladies in the office about the SGM's cutoff down by the bridge."

Don't know your story about the SGM "cutoff" but we used to use it when we were ordered to edge the sidewalks at the Main PX, (now the MiniMall) after PT when we had scheduled training. Just increased the running pace....

This post just made me smile. I have not thought about this spot for years.

Add me to the roll call.

"F" Troop

I did my time in E Company of the 7th in 1966. Got to ride in a sub and pull KP 40 times in eight months.

I don't know if it was KP or Guard Duty that I did the most of ----- All I'm sure of is that EVERY time I did Guard Duty, the weather was MISERABLE!

Charlie765 aqui

Finally got around to signing up. Some of you already know me. Hello TR and CRad. For those that don't I spent my time in 7th, 1st SOCOM, SWC and JOTC.
I like guns, knives and long paddles in the moonlight. I don't like sun, sand and no see ums. I won't post often, as I usually don't have much to say. I've been out of the business for a long time, but I still enjoy keeping up with what's going on.
