Nice, thanks.... doing whatever in the woods, swamps you'd always run into some concrete foundation or pillars that supported the old WW2 wood.

I can only take credit for hanging the info on here. I got this stuff from someone out at Camp Mackall. These must have been hiding somewhere until someone found them and put them on digits...

I loved being at Mackall, it felt like being in the presence of giants. Every time I saw one of those foundations it made me think. Somewhere I still have that Cap they gave us before being Airborne qualified which sported the glider patch...
