I thought it was weak......in the PT examples. The guys on the Nasty Nick looked like pussies...the physical aspect shown didn't inspire me at all....looked like a kids camp.
The comments made sense to us...but were not delivered well from the ind. SF guys.
The training pics looked too staged.....the combat diver infil.
The slide show explanation of the course was ok.
I'd can the thing.....start over. No soul.

Back in say 1985 maybe 86 someone wanted to do a MFF video and needed an A-Team to film. We were "volunteered". When it got to the part where we jumped onto a mattress on the ground in full combat gear we "politely" declined.
Some things never change.

yes, yes...after all these years, I still have a romanticized notion of SF

Great video but quite honestly it doesn't have that "HELL YEA, I'm going to sign up" impact. The marines have eaten our lunch on self promotions for years and we still haven't learned anything about marketing ourselves properly when it comes to these videos. It's more of a video that you'd show at some sort of symposium rather than a marketing piece. It's a shame in my mind but that's just me. We could do SOOOOOOOO much better.
