Motivational Music
What songs do you listen to in order to motivate yourself? For those of you who listen to hip hop/rap, my favorite motivational song is Go Getta by Lil Wayne. I feel this song can directly be applied toward anyone going to selection and on the path toward being an operator.

I would suggest that it is not the song that motivates the individual,
But the individuals motivation that creates the song..
Those that succeed at any level are self motivated.
Now what kick ass music did I enjoy when I was young & pumped??

Me too JJ.
Also, anytime I hear Stranglehold by Ted Nugent, I want to kill something...

My sister runs marathons and she usually supports some cause or another in the process.
She offers to add "your song" to her motivation ipod for a donation. I have to pay double to get this one on it. It's one of the last on her play list. It's a "good race, D, if I don't get too it"

She doesn't charge me at all for the 'Ballad" but refuses "Roland" no matter what I offer.
Warren, I miss you.

Motivational music
Decided I might jump in on this one. The following three songs are, in my opinion, well suited for their related activities.
At the gym on heavy lift days: Disturbed "Droppin' Plates"
On long runs/rucks: Stevie Ray Vaughn "Texas Flood" (Hence my name)
Hitting the bag: Godsmack "Bad Religion"
A popular song with a couple of guys I lift with is "Indestructible" by Disturbed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx4rMVCAdHw
However, if Im out training in the woods, I find that no music is the best music, especially in early June.
