That last; Bingo. And that's a bureaukratic thing. No need to get anywhere near 1200' AGL. How about treetops just checking roofs and fencelines? Kripes.

I love a good political conspiracy. I hope there is one here that turns out to be true. So far it looks like the shooter was just a social loser. A lazy, incompetent opportunist who got lucky. My guess is he would have taken a shot at Biden if he had come to town.
On another note:

Maybe sometime on another thread, I would be really interested in what we have learned in drone warfare. I suspect there are lots of papers being written at the war college as we speak.

Concur. 2 things can be true at the same time. "Wants notoriety" collides with some poor performance.

I agree 100%
...but how can Oliver Stone make a movie with that kind of subject matter.
There is no choice but to stay with the ever unfolding string of twist, turns, and surprises that come with a complex deep state conspiracy theory.
Think about it – we could bring familiar faces like Kevin Costner, Kevin Bacon, and Tommy Lee Jones to cover some of the films big roles. We get Laurie Metcalf to play the role of Jill Biden and then we get Gary Oldman onthe cast as Thomas Matthew Crooks,
Maybe even get Christopher Lloyd/Jim Ignatowski to play Joe Biden…
Obviously we bring in Melissa McCarthy to play one of the Secret Service Agents.
Then…
….stay with me on this one
…to play Kamala Harris
…we bring in
…Joe Pesci
Thats right
JOE MOTHER FUCKING PESCI as Kamala Harris.
You jokers ALL know that I am right. Joe Pesci can play any role that you throw at him.
Raging Bull, Lethal Weapon 2, Easy Money, My Cousin Vinny, Lethal Weapon III, 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag, Lethal Weapon More - everything Joe touches turns into box office gold.
Can you imagine Joe laying down a line like " You think you just fell out of a coconut tree? You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you”
Read that last line again - but this time - in your head - read it with Joe Pesci's voice - then try to tell me that he couldn't nail the role of Kamala Harris.

Prime reason I don't post here anymore....Early information being what it was, posted for part of the conversation.
Damn tiresome.....

I usually entertain conspiracy theories involving the government.
Do I believe most of them? No.
But they are always worth exploring because the government should always answer to the people and should never be allowed to shut down any discussion.
They work for the people.
When it comes to INDIVIDUALS who may work for the government, they always enjoy the presumption of innocence.
When it comes to COLLECTIVE government entities, they bear a presumption of guilt.
Government entities should always satisfy the questions of the public and demonstrate a level of transparency which avoids even the slightest appearance of impropriety.
Such a standard protects the integrity of the good public servants from being corrupted by the inevitable bad apples.
When trillions of dollars and the power over life and death are at stake, it is reasonable to have a presumption of guilt upon collective government entities.

Proves the point that the SS Dir is full of it when she says they couldn't get a "permit" to fly a drone. The DJI software is very good and has all the FAA restrictions incorporated based on lat/lon. It literally won't take off. This is a distractor from the issue that they didn't have their own drone up.

It doesn't seem like the shooter had an exit plan.
Did he have the AK ? or an AR ?
He used a drone ? and a range finder ?
He entered the area on a bike ?

From a laymen's perspective this would seem SOP when a VIP of Trumps status is in AO. Iran allegedly had a hit out of Trump so one would think the various agencies would magnify their vigilance and precautions.
On July 16th, the propagandist CNN posted:
Quote:
Secret Service learned of the increased threat from this threat stream,” the official told CNN. “NSC directly contacted USSS at a senior level to be absolutely sure they continued to track the latest reporting. USSS shared this information with the detail lead, and the Trump campaign was made aware of an evolving threat. In response to the increased threat, Secret Service surged resources and assets for the protection of former President Trump. All of this was in advance of Saturday.
|
Other propaganda centers such as AP, WaPo, VOA, NPR and NBC made similar claims to CNN's.

Affidavit from secret service whistleblower claims they were supposed to be there, but were ordered to stand down.
Pretty vague with context missing, but definitely worth investigating.
