SGM(R) Paul Lawrence

SGM(R) Paul Lawrence, passed away the morning of June 2, 2010, after a six month battle with brain cancer. Paul served in the U.S. Army for 20 years in Special Forces and Delta Force, and 20 years at Special Operations, here in Tampa. He served two years in Vietnam. Family and friends will remember Paul as a true American Hero who sacrificed his life countless times for his country. He was a man whose quiet way could not be mistaken for a quiet spirit. "We will miss him."

Paul was a good friend and mentor.

He was the epitome of the quiet professional. I am sure that if anyone could have fought and survived the cancer, it would have been Paul.

Wherever I go, I take a little bit of his indomitable spirit with me.

We have truly lost an icon.

RIP, hermano.

See you on the final LZ.
