I think the local recruiter might be feeding me BS.

I stopped by the recruiters today to find out some information about the 18x program. He told me that I have to be 21 to go 18x and that the age limit is unwaiverable. He said that I could work my way up through the regular Army or join at 21, or I can go Rangers. I thought that the age is waiverable if I get good PT scores and ASVAB scores, and I am pretty sure that I am either being bullshitted or this particular recruiter isn't very informed on the subject. Can someone help me out?

Use the search button. You'll be surprised what can be learned here with a little effort - like maybe you owe the recruiter an apology. FWIW - There's even a discussion about why the age limit was raised. Thread Closed

Dante - I just checked. You've been counseled about this before. After re-reading your posting history, I strongly recommend you adopt a listening mode in "hull defilade".
