Packing List

I am about to report for the school but I have not been able find a packing list, or at least a general I dea of what I will need. I have talked to a few grads and they either give me some vague unhelpful advice or contradictory advice. If anyone could give me an idea of what I might need I would greatly appreciated it.

Thanks
SFC W

Sorry, the 18F course. I am the engineer on a new team and I have just spent the last several days preparing for and conducting a change of command inventory and I am not firing on all cylinders.

That much honesty will only get you in trouble - though we all understand where you're coming from. Peregrino

Probably a little late on the reply but if you check ATRRS it should give you the list.

18F Course

I am assuming you are going to attend the next class. I am in the course now (will graduate in Sept) and I have not had much time to check the site. The ATTARS packing list is not very complete. In addition to the items listed some recommended items are the following:

1. 2 thumb drives (1gb each) one for unclass and one for classified material back ups.

2. You will need courrier orders for classified.

3. Bring a Garman for Arcview applications the 18F committee does not have enough.

4. The course goes through a level II ASOT certification so you will go though an ASOT FTX. which means dual lodging, rental cars and miscellanious items like clip boards, maps, templates, compass, briefcase, ect. A 1610 is recommended.

5. Bring Air items for Airborne Ops.

6. Current "Secret" or higher Secuirty Clearance is a must. I have seen guys sent home for problems with clearance there are no intrim clearances or exceptions.

PS- I hope you are confortable with computers (word / powerpoint) internet. This course is very painful for the computer challenged.

PM if you want to discuss further

Packing List

I'll tell you two things we could not use in the mid-'60's.
1. 7H Pencil
2. Yellow lined paper.
