HAK substitutes

Well, after carrying my old HAK for almost 15 years, I finally lost it. The kydex lost retention and now some stranger is wondering what sort of strange alien artifact they have found. Mine was cut large for a three finger grip (or two with gloves), which was the source of some hilarity when the original maker thought I must be a yeti (I am the opposite).

Any ideas of things I should look at for neck carry? I am looking for a retention grip, not just a small stabby thing. :-)

Hi Jatx,

Have you seen Fred Perrin’s neck knives? The La Griffe might be an option.

He has both mass-produced mid-techs and full customs made by him in France.

I think les George had something similar at blade show, might be worth an email to him to find out if he plans to make more.
