Good read and I would ask what another the Shi'ite movement elsewhere. That's something worth looking into.

I caught that article the other day…….a hard read, but well worth it.

A few questions I have:

Were the bombings in Beirut, Lebanon in recent months actually anti-hex, or were they Anti-Iran/IRGC, or both?

I would think the attacks are not entirely focused on Hez.

Iran is throwing some serious money at propping up that Syrian corpse like that movie Weekend at Berney's. And that would surely include throwing a lot of money at Hez.

All those Hez combatant deployments into Syria would not only cost a lot in lives, but national treasure no longer being spent on hearts and minds back in Lebanon.

Magnified by the tsunami of refugees and their local economic cost.

How does Hez handle the transformation of being the non-state actor underdog(with low public expectations) to being the state actor wrecking the finances on international military adventure(where the public expect the lights to work and the water to run)?

I guess this is Hez's welcome to the big leagues of effectively running a country in time of war….instead of just fighting a country.

There's a big difference between the two.

Maybe the lesson to be learned is: running a country sucks, influencing/controlling a country is better.
