Update on question
I asked the very general question to see if anyone was familiar with this program, specifically if anyone knew of or felt there was any real value in it.
Taking the program was recommended to me because of my involvement with my Emergency Management Agency, and because I am a CERT trainer. I already teach the Terrorism section (along with being certified to teach all the others), so I figured more knowledge is always a good thing, right?
I posted the question before I had the opportunity to go through the first week's lectures, videos and readings. I've now done week 1, and I'm feeling like there are hours of my life I can't get back.
I don't claim to be a subject matter expert - far from it - but I don't feel I should be able to sit down and in a matter of a few hours, go through all the material, take the quizzes and Ace them that easily.
Granted, the first week is all about "introducing concepts" and maybe it will get better, but if someone has experience with this program and knows it really is this shallow, please save me some time. And save my agency some money. Having a certificate to add to my credentials is meaningless if this is as good or in depth as it gets.
