To tell you the truth I actually have no idea but I get the sense that "combatives" or "hand-to-hand combat" are terms that are too... well, not "aligned" with the "feelings of the entire force."

A few years ago - tattoos were a sign of the devil because of the severe and devastating degree of unprofessional behavior associated with it...
...now Soldiers that gender identify as "male" can wear nail polish

I wonder why the 15 woman/2 (obviously) metro advisory panel didn't think it was important to address the issue of beards?
