Seems like a lot of potential, remote isolated places often have wind. Experiencing some icy down valley currents and knowing it doesn't take that much heat inside insulation to make a big difference or that much energy to warm. Those currents tend to be twice a day similar to on shore off shore currents with potential day and night, certainly makes one think.
Effectively managing the energy generated wind/ solar/ generated is what makes the difference...making it practical. Here is an interesting company:
