Statue Flint Kaserne
Tried a search..................what ever happened to the carved wooden SF soldier that was in Flint Kaserne? I remember making a donation to the fund.

There's a small (few feet tall, IIRC) wooden statue of an SF guy with a rope coil over his shoulder and rifle in hand in a display case in the 10th Group HQ bldg. Might that be the one?

I am fairly certain the one you are describing is (or was) in the Bn HQ building at Panzer in BB......but I left there in 2001.

I don't recall the wood statue in Toelz. What year did they do that?
I have seen the one Razor is referring to at 10th SFG(A) HQ, Ft. Carson, it's pretty small.

That was after my time. It's probably in Stuttgart now.

I was in the 10th from 64 thru 67. I don't recall any statue. There was a miniature tank at the entrance to the 7th Army NCOA which was shined daily.
When I left I was gives a statuette but the M-16 was at sling arms. I have some pictures of Flint, Prinz Heinrich and the AO on my web site,
