Election 2022

It will be interesting.
The media is already preparing to blame the outcome on Russian interference.

The media doing its job as Northern VA reaches out to their outlet at the NYT.
Because whatever happens couldn't be because Americans are actually miffed about anything.

Democrats have had a tendency to "self diagnose" and have done such for most of the last 160 years.
The party of slavery - they call everyone racist.
The party of rebellion - they call everyone else an insurgent.
The party of dope smoking hippies - they call everyone else counterculture.
The part of violent firely deadly but mostly peaceful protests - everyone else is a dangerous rioter
The party of government managed speech - they call everyone else a hate speecher.
The party that owned WW2, Vietnam, Haiti, Bosnia, Somalia, Desert One, escalations into Syria, incursions into Crimea and Ukraine, and failed policy that resulted in a shameful retreat from Afghanistan - they call everyone else war mongers.
The party that always denies elections - they love to call everyone else an election denier.

When the democrats start accusing people that "the fix is on" it is because the fix is on.
Its why Hillary was so fucking pissed off in 2016 - she paid for her season tickets to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and the scalper failed to deliver her front row seats.

News reports and what the AP is showing aren’t quite in sync.
There’s no direct link, but if you Google “election results” an interactive tool will pop up on some browsers which shows some detail.

Big Picture, 2022 Midterm Elections Highlight the Distinct Difference Between Ballots and Votes

Quote:
As the political discussion centers on the 2022 wins and losses from the midterm election, one thing that stands out in similarity to the 2020 general election is the difference between ballots and votes. It appears in some states this is the ‘new normal.’

Where votes were the focus, the Biden administration suffered losses. Where ballots were the focus, the Biden administration won.
Interesting read, contrast between votes and ballots.

How to Tsurvive a Tsunami

By Harvey Oxenhorn 10 hr ago

Quote:
And through technology, ballots and votes are increasingly being connected at wire-line speed, allowing corrupt rulers to turn registration databases into rechargeable gift cards for winning elections without having to campaign.

Elections are not about getting more votes— through rallies, endorsements, ads, lawn signs, phone-banking, etc. They are about delivering more ballots. As long as you can match in ballots the number of votes coming at you— along with a margin of victory—you can fight off any tsunami of any color—red, blue or otherwise.

No matter how much damage you do to the country.

Republicans need to get with the program and start cheating in elections harder than Democrats.

It isnt that hard to cheat when you are dealing with low information voters, a lazy, greedy, ignorant electorate, and a clear case of "nobody cares"

People like that Fethermin guy from PA don't need to actually 'work' for the people of Pennsylvania, they just need to 'make his mark' next to whatever the current leftists cause is when voting in the senate.
Current day US government is more akin to a Mafia 'no-show' job.

The USA clearly has transitioned from an era of relevant, representative governance to an era of "us-against-them".
Picking teams at an elementary school dodge-ball game has more thought than what aMEriKans apply to the voting process.
...and the Globo-Gym Cobras Day Care team is winning

I want to say "God Bless America" but my heart tells me that "Lord Have Mercy On Us" is much ore appropriate.

These issues are nothing new. The only real issue is perspective. The US has gone through this about 6-8 times in our history, and only one lead to an all out shooting match….

John Q Public is too busy (and rightfully so) just living his life. Until things get “painful”, nothing of consequence will change. Not because they shouldn’t, but because they don’t have to. That whole “object at rest” thing Newton talks about…..

Sadly, people often only learn after much suffering.

The uniparty is desperately hanging on to the last vestiges of its power.
They will use political power to enable fleecing of the population both through favorable legislation for some a direct raiding of the treasury for others.

When enough economic pain has been inflicted on the electorate, the worm will turn.
By then, the uniparty and their associates will have escaped with their stolen riches.

But, the nation will endure and rise again, until such time as another generation needs to relearn the lesson.

As a general rule, Republicans only cheat in two ways: Manipulating who gets on the ballot and who gets the money. They are not mutually exclusive.

Helping the party's 'choice' during the primary, basically picking and choosing who gets on the ballot, outside the established rules/laws, is the first method of cheating the electorate and candidates.

The second is picking and choosing who/when gets money and benefits (like postage franking, speaking opportunities, etc.) and is primarily used to manipulate voting blocks and favors by the establishes politicos that control the donated money. Mitch McConnell is a recent example of this.

These comments are about cheating. Self-enrichment is a whole 'nother topic.

You’ve Been Gaslighted – Democrats Just Stole Another Election

You’ve Been Gaslighted – Democrats Just Stole Another Election

Excerpts:
Quote:
Think of all the times in just the past few years you’ve been gaslighted. They lied to you about open borders…they lied about Hillary’s 30,000 deleted emails…they lied about spying on Trump…they lied about Russian Collusion…they lied about a perfectly fine Ukrainian phone call…they lied about massive Biden corruption in Ukraine and China… they lied about the Hunter Biden laptop…they lied about the origins of Covid…they lied about the need for lockdowns and masks…they lied about the need for Covid vaccines…they lied about the vaccines being “safe and effective”…they lied and covered up all the deaths and injuries from the vaccine…they lied about the success of miracle drugs Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin…they lied about the stolen 2020 election…
Quote:
First, every poll in the country showed a gigantic GOP landslide victory- ranging from red wave, to red tsunami. Polls even showed women moved 32 points from September to October in favor of the GOP.

But in the end they all moved back to Biden and Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

Second, every poll in the country showed the top two issues, by a mile, were inflation and the economy. And crime was in second place, along with open borders.

And they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

CNN’s own exit polls showed the GOP made massive gains among almost every voting group- men, women, white men, white women, blacks, Hispanics, young people. Everyone.

And they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

In this environment where Americans can’t afford gas…or groceries…or rent…with the economy failing…inflation raging…scared to death of losing their jobs…living in cities plagued by violent crime, mass shoplifting, homeless everywhere, streets lined with poop, pee, drug needles…and failing schools intent on teaching your children to become masked transgenders…

In this environment, they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

That they looked around at the disaster one man has created in only two years, and they defied a century of historic midterm defeats for the party in power…and voted for Democrats?Folks, you’ve been gaslighted.

True. I amend my comment to Republicans need to start cheating the same way and better as Democrats do.
