There is no need for destroying the farms before expropriation. The new owners will do that in days, just as they have on 90% of land given to them in the restitution programme where the government has bought land and given it to claimants.

Animals are left unfed until they eat their pen-mates or simply die of thirst and malnutrition. This has happened on farms given to government cabinet ministers.
Imagine what the common or garden native will do with his new-found riches?

It's okay though, because CBS has an article rebutting the claims. People here were saying we'd hear nothing! Good thing CBS cleared the air, with their correspondent informing us this is simply not possible!!

CNN is also reporting that expropriation is “simply not occurring” - https://www-m.cnn.com/2018/08/23/afr...www.cnn.com%2F

Of course, Obama stood side-by-side with the SA leader supporting the takeovers.

I heard a man named Simon discussing the situation with David Knight this morning. It is a very bad situation, that many on the left would like to replicate here in the states. You won't hear that on the MSM but you will hear it on the much maligned .........Infowars.

8% of the population and losing power politically... I'd get what I owned sold and get the hell out.

Reminds me of the Jews in Germany in the early 30's.... hindsight comments...'why didn't they leave'...well, it was their home.... yeah it was.

"WAS" being the operative word.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Remember, it was the rest of the world that forced White South Africa to give in to the known disaster of majority rule. The Communist countries aided and abetted the ANC and the West applied sanctions because it believed we were unfair to the powers of darkness.

The Communist countries have now largely disappeared and the West is experiencing the impossibility of living with the savages they allowed into their countries.

All civilised countries are beginning to see that some form of apartheid will be essential to their living peacefully alongside the savages.

This quickly changing climate may allow the civilized people of Sa to mount a counter attack without outside interference.

Although the odds are roughly 10:1 we know from a 23 year bush war, that this will not be an insurmountable problem.

To cut and run is not really our nature.

One thing that worries me about losing South Africa is the fact they have most of the diamonds and platinum in the world. Industrial grade diamonds are used on drilling apparatus in the petroleum industry and platinum is used to coat ball bearings.

I wouldn't worry. The Chinese will gladly sell us all the SA natural resources we want. Just at a huge mark up.

South Africa's nuclear weapons program was dismantled by the white government prior to losing control to the ANC.

We had 8 bombs at the time they were dismantled. The white government made many big mistakes, but trusting the new mob with nuclear bombs was not one of them.

As Land Confiscations Loom, South Africa Rules 300,000 Gun-Owners Turn Over Their Weapons
Authored by Jose Nino via GunPowderMagazine.com,

South Africa is opening the door for tyranny.

The Constitutional Court of South Africa recently ruled that 300,000 gun owners must turn in their firearms.

This judgement came in response to the North Gauteng High Court’s ruling in 2017 which said Section 24 and Section 28 of the Firearm’s Control Act were unconstitutional.

A report from The Citizen explains what Section 24 and Section 28 entail:

“Section 24 of the Act requires that any person who seeks to renew a licence must do so 90 days before its expiry date Section 28 stipulates that if a firearm licence has been cancelled‚ the firearm must be disposed of or forfeited to the state. A 60-day time frame was placed on its disposal, which was to be done through a dealer.”

Now that the High Court’s initial ruling has been overturned, gun owners who failed to renew their firearms licenses must hand in their firearms to the nearest police station, where authorities will then proceed to destroy them.

Many naïve political observers will paint this event as a casual gun control scheme, but any astute student of politics will recognize that the floodgates are now open for further encroachments – not only on the gun rights of South Africans, but also on others facets of theirs lives.

A look at South Africa’s current political climate will give us an idea of the potential ramifications of this gun control scheme.

Political Trouble Brewing in South Africa?

Though South Africa witnessed rising levels of economic freedom shortly after Apartheid ended in 1994, the country has taken a more interventionist path to economic development in recent years.

This situation is becoming more pronounced with the South African National Assembly recently voting 241-83 to amend the South African constitution to allow for land expropriation without compensation.

The socialist-leaning African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) parties are leading the charge for expropriation under the banner of fixing racial disparities that have supposedly remained intact since Apartheid’s conclusion.

While land confiscation has not been officially finalized, South Africans should worry about the direction their country is going.

And how does gun control fit into this equation?

Gun Control: A Tool for Tyranny

No matter how socialist apologists rationalize it, the redistributionist agenda the South African government is pursuing will not be implemented passively. Ultimately, it must be carried out by force.

The kind of force socialists seek is a monopolized kind, which extreme forms of gun control like gun confiscation help facilitate.

The history of gun confiscation is one of repeated cases of tyranny.

From countries such as Cuba to the Soviet Union, aspiring demagogues have used gun confiscation to disarm the populace. Logically, an unarmed populace will put up little resistance against their tyrannical acts.

In South Africa’s case, farmers and their workers are already suffering ongoing attacks against their property. One could only imagine what it would be like for these persecuted farmers once they are stripped of their right to self-defense.

For many Americans who have enjoyed historically unprecedented gun rights, South Africa’s gun control experience may seem distant and strange.

But make no mistake about it, South Africa’s latest flirtation with gun control is not based on good intentions, especially when considering the political climate the country is enduring.

South Africa should serve as a fair warning to Americans of the dangerous consequences gun control poses.
If there is truth to this article, it’s going start going fast!

I know you see what’s going on Guy, I hope everyone else in SA does too!

Quote:
Every Communist must grasp the truth, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party. Yet, having guns, we can create Party organizations, as witness the powerful Party organizations which the Eighth Route Army has created in northern China. We can also create cadres, create schools, create culture, create mass movements. Everything in Yenan has been created by having guns. All things grow out of the barrel of a gun. According to the Marxist theory of the state, the army is the chief component of state power. Whoever wants to seize and retain state power must have a strong army. Some people ridicule us as advocates of the "omnipotence of war". Yes, we are advocates of the omnipotence of revolutionary war; that is good, not bad, it is Marxist. The guns of the Russian Communist Party created socialism. We shall create a democratic republic. Experience in the class struggle in the era of imperialism teaches us that it is only by the power of the gun that the working class and the labouring masses can defeat the armed bourgeoisie and landlords; in this sense we may say that only with guns can the whole world be transformed. We are advocates of the abolition of war, we do not want war; but war can only be abolished through war, and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun.

There is mention in Lauren Southern's documentary "Farmlands" of people who don't already have firearms or a permit (and certainly wouldn't be able to get one now) acquiring paint-ball equipment with pepper balls as a defense mechanism. Forgetting the, at times, melodramatic narration moments, it might be worth a view (before the hosting service pulls it for being Wacissss).
