Psalms 18:31-36 For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?—the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.

I heard this recently in a briefing exercise. I think it is one of the best quotes on mindset I have ever heard.
"Everyone says, Failure is not an option. It's quite the contrary, failure is ALWAYS and ever present option. There is always that chance of failure. FEAR is never an option. If you fear to attempt, then you will never succeed...or fail. Do not let fear paralyze you. Failure is always an option, Fear is not." - Anonymous source

Whenever a bird s***s on my car, I eat a plate of scrambled eggs out on my front porch just to show the little bastards what I am capable of if they really piss me off.

 I like it.
That reminds me of the one everybody's heard a million times from Jerry "Mad Dog" Shriver.

"Learn what you need for your life! Do not walk bowed and hunched, walk upright like free people! Walk with your head held high but never rise above others! Walk with sharp mind and a hot heart!
