General Information about the AOR
Despite the name, this AOR is not limited to "Latin" America per se, but covers most of Western Hemisphere, specifically the region which is the AOR of the U.S. Southern Command. It includes:
South America - Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Perú, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela. Also French Guiana and the Falkland Islands.
Central America - Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panamá.
The Caribbean - Generally includes the states of the Greater Antilles and the Lesser Antilles: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Grenada, Haïti, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago. There are also several island dependencies of the US and various European countries which may be included here.
Three countries in the Western Hemisphere are outside of the Southern Command's AOR: the USA itself, Canada and México. However, any thread related to México would be acceptable here.
